Before 2018, the KNCV Section Farmacochemie yearly awarded a poster prize (€ 250) to a PhD student for the best Medicinal Chemistry poster at the FIGON Dutch Medicines Days (FIGON-DMD). In 2018 and 2019 the prize (€ 200) and its organization were taken over by FIGON. At the end of 2019, the KNCV division Farmacochemie left FIGON and changed her name to KNCV Medicinal Chemistry & Chemical Biology (MCCB). As of 2020, the yearly poster prize for PhD students is no longer awarded at FIGON-DMD, but at one of the symposia organized by the division. The jury consists of two board members or delegates of the division.
